Welcome to Smokey Mo’s! You can find us on Northwest Loop 410 at the Military Crossing Shopping Center near West Military Drive. We smoke all of our meats in house daily, and serve ‘em up in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Monday-Friday mornings, we offer breakfast tacos with coffee or juice. What a great experience. This place was super tidy and fun. The staff was 1000% cool and helpful. We tried some different things and everything was a crazy taste sensation. Soo, good. Great value! Stop here and eat!!
If you're a brisket addict like me, you need to check this place out. I ordered the double sliced brisket sandwich and a large tea for around $18. Including a $1 extra for sliced brisket. One thing to note is the bun—it was surprisingly flat. I’m not sure if that’s the signature style here, but I actually enjoyed it because it didn't overwhelm the meat. The brisket was excellent: tender, moist, and hit the perfect balance of seasoning without being too dry or greasy. It goes to show that not all brisket is created equal; the skill of the cook really shines through here. This place is a local gem and definitely worth a visit!
A rare 4 star review, but note that the food was only a 3. Basic smoky flavor and dry meat. I just was not impressed. But I’m feeling this style of BBQ is more fast food casual. The sides were the best part. Nice pickle and onion bar.
