Original sauce is way too spicy. Way too much black pepper can’t even eat it. Next time I will bring my own. Other than that food is great.
I picked up a pack for an office lunch for my clinic today and the restaurant had my order ready when I arrived, the food is fresh and everyone was friendly at the restaurant. This was my first time ordering but I’ll definitely be back.
Smokey Mo’s BBQ here in Temple, Texas truly exceeded my expectations! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome and genuine smiles. The customer service was top-tier — friendly, attentive, and professional. Even when I picked up my order, they thanked me sincerely and made sure I was taken care of before I left. That kind of hospitality goes a long way. I placed my order over the phone, and let’s be honest — sometimes with takeout you feel like you need to double-check the bag to make sure everything’s there. Not this time. Every single item was included, and not just tossed in. The food was packaged thoughtfully and arranged in a way that kept each item separated, maintaining its individual flavor and integrity. Nothing was soggy, mixed together, or out of place. On top of that, the restaurant itself was clean, neat, and well-maintained, which immediately gives you confidence in the quality of the food and service. Great food, outstanding customer service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Smokey Mo’s in Temple earned my 5-star. You added to the list.
We took a trip, from alllllll the waaaaaaay from the little River academy….. lol But I am super happy that we did, Our first time and did not disappoint the Brisket was excellent, the sausage, all the meats were perfect. The cost isn’t killer either. Bring your family.
