Welcome to Smokey Mo’s New Braunfels! We’re located near the corner of Highway 46 and Oak Run Boulevard in the Oak Run Shopping Center. We smoke all of our meats in house daily, and serve ‘em up in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Monday-Friday mornings, we offer breakfast tacos with coffee or juice. We were visiting New Braunfels and wanted a good BBQ place. The first one we went to didn’t have what I wanted, and I hate the picnic bench seating. So we went back to the list and chose Smokey Mo’s. I am so glad we did!!!My baked potato was so good, and there was no skimping on toppings! My two youngest had the ribs, and they were amazingly flavorful and fall-off-the-bone tender! The creamed corn was new to me, but so delicious! The turkey in the turkey sandwich was super juicy and tender, though slightly more salty than we prefer. But still delicious! Stopped by after floating the river and I had the brisket wrap. The Mo’s spicy was great on it. My husband and daughter had brisket sandwiches with mac and cheese. Nothing leftover. Delicious!
First time going to this location. Food was excellent and everything was juicy and not dried out! Sides were amazing and enough to share for the two of us. We got the Ribs, Sausage, Brisket, the we got the Potatoe salad, coleslaw, green beans and creamed corn. The staff was more than patient with me asking my questions as I am new to the restaurant! Can’t wait to go back again!!!
As it turns out, we wanted BBQ today. We were helped by a nice young man at the register. He was very patient with us since it was our first time there. When we were done, the manager, Paul, came over and checked to see how our meal was. The whole experience was great, and the food was delicious. I got the baked potato with brisket on top! and my husband got the 3 meat plate with brisket, turkey, and jalapeno sausage, and a side of mac & cheese and green beans.
