Smokey Mo's feels like a fastfood BBQ restaurant with very flavorful food. The ribs and burnt ends are delicious, I personally enjoyed the pinto beans for a side, they season them well and add chopped meat inside. Definitely worth stopping by, the people at the counter were very helpful and even offered to let me sample the end of sausage so I knew I was picking the right options. Definitely recommend!
Everybody there are always super friendly, nice and they always get me exactly what I asked for. The Boerne Location is the best all the way from the manager down to the trainees that slice up my barbecue. They asked me what I preferred in parts of the sliced brisket. Most other places give you whatever they want and when you get home you are surprised at the parts of the brisket you get. Smokey Mo's always ask me what I prefer. There BBQ is always good tender and consistent. In my opinion they are the BEST!
It's my second time at this location and we were not disappointed! I strongly believe comparing Smokey Mo's BBQ to "the other" BBQ is a thing of the past. Their Brisket and Ribs beat it by a mile. The baked potato filled with brisket was delicious as well. Their prices are good too, you need to stop by!
